Would Kerry ask for a Recount if Florida Happens Again ? |
|
Kerry doesn't strike me as a fighter when it comes to the big dogs in Washington. If there were problems exposed with the vote tabulation process or programs in November, I think he would be the least likely of the four leading candidates to demand and fight for a recount. Does anyone else think this makes sense?

He had FUCKING BETTER. If I'm going to invest in Kerry as the bearer of the last hope against the Fundie / Neocon tide, he'd better fight like a deranged werewolf, WITHOUT ME HAVING TO PUSH HIM FROM BEHIND. I expect at the very least that the Democratic nominee should know what's at stake in this historic election.

7. You know, of course, that the 2000 Florida recount was automatic. |
|
Whenever you have such a small margin of victory, a recount is usually automatic. Bush's legal team was the first to bring the matter before a court.
So, it doesn't really matter whether Kerry wants a recount or not... it's automatic. But you can be sure that Bush's lawyers will be the first one in court.

Massachussetts would teach you something on how to campaign? His last election with Rep. Governor William Weld was a huge, hard fought campaign and he won that. He's got a mind ofor this and yes, you can bet there won't be a replay of a bunch of Republican hacks getting away with the same mob play again...will any of us let that happen?
