in 08 --I have a hunch ...
Either Richardson or Rendell.

Hillary doesn't run.

Al Gore doesn't run.

Biden rus, loses. Vilsack runs, loses. Kerry runs, loses. Obama runs, loses.

Clark stays out, VP for Richardson or Rendell.

Copy this and mock me if it doesn't pan out this way.

Just my hunch.

October 17, 2006,Will be remembered as the Enabling day of the 21st Century!

5. Is Rendell considering a run?
I know that Pennsylvanians seem to like him. I would have figured him to be more likely for the V.P. slot, possibly with Bayh or Clark.

7. Someone will step up
Don't know who. Don't care who. Am not going to waste my time.

Here's a thought. Let's have a primary.

Nah, we must decide in November of 06.

What this does is get Democrats to do what they do best. Leave the party.

The Hillary camp will stay home and whine. The Gore camp will run to the Greens.

HOW ABOUT THEY ALL RUN AND WE VOTE ON THE ONE THAT KICKS ASS IN THE PRIMARIES.

11. I despise Rendell, and Richardson is not far behind.......
I was furious at Rendell in 2000 when, five minutes after the USSC handed down its decision against Al Gore in the Bush v. Gore decision, Rendell was shouting for him to CONCEDE! Bastard! I wrote the DNC (Rendell was the head of the DNC at the time!) demanding that Rendell be FIRED immediately! Of course, it fell on deaf ears!

Richardson is too GOP willing to concede to whatever is the go along get along policy at the time! He is no yellow dawg democrat like me!

NO RENDELL!!! NO RICHARDSON!!!!

I wouldn't vote for either one of them, ever!!!!

13. Richardson and Rendell have to do it themselves on stage in a SERIES of Debates and come off
Edited on Sat Nov-11-06 09:48 PM by blm
more knowledgeable on a wide range of issues, be more presidential and more consistent than any other person on that stage so they can be perceived as dominating the debates.

Most Democrats do make their decisions by the halfway point of the debates where it becomes obvious who is best prepared to lead.

So you have to believe that the two will do that will be Richardson and Rendell.

16. Rendell had said he wasn't running last I heard...
and planned to retire after finishing as governor. It could be Richardson, but he isn't strong enough to win enough primaries at this point. He'd be more likely as VP.

Clark and Edwards are going to be Hillary's main competition unless others join in.
