But he's been in the Senate too long and has a tendency to talk forever. But Biden comes across very well on the TV though and I think would make a fine president. Dodd is a dud, I'm afraid.

Huge ego, talks too much, and cocky. But he has Foreign Policy credentials and atleast is from semi-southern state. Dodd is from solid-blue Connecticut, not charasimatic, a Senator with a long voting record, and has the name Dodd.

I like what he has to say, but personally, he's just an obnoxious motor-mouth. With bad hair plugs. Oh, and when he ran in 1988, he plagiarized a speech.

When he announced his intentions to think about running for President I wrote him a personal note to remind him of how much some of up really hate him.

The winner picks his or her VICE PRESIDENT from the pack, oftentimes. Not always contemporaneously, but the very exercise offers national exposure.
Look at John Edwards...a classic recent example.
Jack Kemp, for example, ran for President in 88 and got picked as Bob Dole's running mate in 96.
