I think this was the quote from the Bill Maher show last night? :)

Bill pointed out that when a Republican, such as Pastor ted Haggard, gets caught with methamphetamine and a gay male hooker, he is said to have committed a "sin". However, if a Democrat were caught in the same situation, he would be accused of criminal conduct and subject to widespread vilification. But, it is an interesting point. In their world, everything is black and white. They are the "good guys" and the Democrats are evil and are the party of Sodom and Gomorrah. They ask that the Democrats be punished while they ask that their fellow Republicans be "forgiven".
