McCain Claims Iraq Will Be Won Or Lost In ‘Next Several Months,’ Admits Previous Prediction Was Wrong »

Today on NBC’s Meet the Press, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) again claimed this is a “critical time” in Iraq and that “we’re either going to lose this thing or win this thing within the next several months.”

Host Tim Russert noted that on December 8, 2005, McCain had said, “Overall, I think a year from now, we will have a fair amount of progress if we stay the course.” McCain admitted he has “proven not to be correct.” Watch it:

1. McCain is a FLIP-FLOPPER! He's a sell out.
I used to respect McCain until he began to suck up to the criminal regime we have now. He sold out to these Rethugs.

2. So rather than own up that all the lives lost since his last statement. . .
were lost in a useless endeavor, St. McCain would extend the period of loss, add to the wretched numbers, and hope for some sort of "divine intervention" to save his sorry ass (because nothing he's doing helps the men & women who are dying for his mistakes).

4. He was for "Stay the Course," before he was against it. Or is he still for it? I'm
not really sure.

5. I hope this puts the "Mavrick" title to bed for good!
...John McCain is NOT a rebel, NOT a loose cannon Repub--he's so blinded by his ambition to be prez in 2008, he's right up there with Hilary Clinton in selling every principle he has to realise it.

Mephistopheles got a 2-fer with Clinton and McCain! Their Faustian souls belong to him--especially McCain's! For someone who was tortured in North Vietnam, what does it take to support the Military Commissions Initiative??? Any respect I might have had is LONG GONE!!!

6. His answer to the Iraq mess? Send more troops
Russert pointed out that only 18% of the American people agreed with this. McCain said he would do whatever is best for the troops and that is to send more troops.

I think the troops would greatly appreciate being sent home, rather than sending more troops. McCain looked weak and wrong in this interview with Russert. Hooray!!

9. Or pretends to for political gain. I just feel bad for Kerry. He thought McCain was a friend
McCain knows Kerry better than that. I have no doubt he knows better. He merely pretends. Sick bastard.
