I saw true American Heroines last night "Dixie Chicks".....

If you ever get a chance to go to a Dixie Chicks concert....please go! If you don't have the CD go get it....

Last night my partner and I attended the Dixie Chicks concert in Tacoma, WA...

When the Dixie Chicks stepped on stage the crowd was ecstatic....there was a genuine love for the ladies and their band....it felt that they were vindicated by the audience in attendance...

Natalie's voice was amazing...and along Emily and Marti's voices their combination of beautiful harmonies touched my soul....

All of the ladies possess amazing skill with string instruments .....simply soul stirring...

True Musicians, True Americans and True Heroines....

When the sang "NOT READY TO MAKE NICE" the crowd erupted and sang the chorus loud and strong.....

The Dixie Chicks were passionate and lovely....and they sound better live if that's possible..

So if it is allowed I would like to give a kick to the "Dixie Chicks"!!

They won lots of support from people like us when they had the courage to take a stand for their beliefs. They deserve to be commended for not letting right-wing bullies intimidate them.

Dixie Chicks are awesome! I would love to see their documentary, but not holding out too much hope it will show around here. I'll be first in line when the DVD comes out.
