Today, at 12 noon (EST), I will be joining other women's rights leaders for a press conference, sharing our post-election analysis on women voters, women's issues, and women leaders. Tune in on CSPAN-2 for live coverage!

Young voters increased their participation this year by 24 percent since the last midterm election in 2002. Also joining me will be Kim Gandy (President, National Organization for Women), Lorraine Cole (YWCA, Chief Executive Officer), E. 2. I'm glad women got out and voted.
With the government attempting to take away their rights, no group needs to take a stand more. You go, girls!!

4. Couldn't understand anyway
How could any woman...looking at bush vote for him. He is the most uncharismatic person I have ever seen. If you did not know who he was you would pass him on the street without a backward glance , or foreword for that matter glance.

6. Charisma? I can think of many reasons not to vote for bush...
personality or lack thereof is waaaaaaaaay down the list.

I would hope, though I do not agree with most of them, that repub women are at least as concerned with their issues as I am with mine and that issues take precedence over personality.

Please tell me women (and men) are somewhat more sophisticated about their vote than simply picking the personality over the issues.

7. Weird...I wonder if they'll notice
The moves and language of the Democratic party of late tells me that they would throw us out of the boat. And now this latest round of the DC insiders spewing all over my TV that the mid-term vote proved that Dems are conservative.
