"Bipartisanship" for now is the kiss of death. How do you compromise with the anti-Christ of the 3rd millennia?

*******************************************************************

Bipartisanship comes later! First things first is justice and law. First things first is Constitutional accountability. First things first is Cheney/Halliburton, New Orleans, and the Bush Family's rape of Mother Nature (don't forget Daddy Bush).

But perhaps above all, first things first is our betrayed national defense. It's increasingly obvious that:

(1.) 9/11 was totally avoidable -- and maybe more than avoidable; maybe even allowed.

(2.) The Bush War in Iraq is all about oil (as we suspected from the beginning), but it's also a hotbed for terrorists beyond Osama's dreams. We should also note that this oil is very expensive, since it's being paid for with the blood of our children -- something that doesn't seem to bother this excuse for a human being (much less a President) George W. Bush.

(3.) The National Defense recommendations of the highest government committees have been sneered at and ignored.

Thus, it's obscene to be talking about bipartisanship with these religious fanatics and corporate fascists. In WW2, the swaggering Mussolini defined fascism as corporate dictatorship. Sound familiar? Bush chose the cowboy persona instead of Hitler/Mussolini persona, but you know he would have been snapping a riding crop against his leg if he thought he could get away with it.

In November, 2006 their Hindenberg of hate exploded before our eyes. Too much hubris, too many lies, too much hypocrisy, and too much literal craziness. History will look upon these last six years as America's "nervous breakdown". We lost it. We allowed these vicious lunatics to engineer a (temporary) coup d'etat.

But, thank God, thank the dems, thank the progressives, thank Howard Dean, thank the moderates (of any party), and thank the independents, "we're back". AMERICA IS BACK! We have "snapped out of it" and have chosen reality over delusion, truth over lies, and conscience over righteousness.

As one American I can only guess at what a Niagara Falls of tears is now flowing in blessed relief. WE HAVE OUR COUNTRY BACK. The pig rich and religious fanatics have been beaten back into the outer darkness. Yes, we know they're still out there and still drooling about oligarchies and theocracies, but at least for now we can eat our breakfasts like proper Americans in relative peace. Our children have a future again and Mother Nature may be gracious enough to give us one last chance to not self destruct as a species.

However, all this is moot if we succumb to the temptation to be nicy nice bipartisan. I know we're tired and we want a unified country again, but THESE PEOPLE TRIED TO STEAL OUR WORLD. You don't "compromise" with people who tried their very, very best to kill our Constitutional Republic.

So one step at a time. Let's see what truths the committees come up with and let's get hard evidence on who the traitors are. Let's repeal these insane bills passed by the Bush/Republicans to make the pig rich, pig richer, and let's bring back to life our environmental protections.

But above all else, let's not compromise with these animals. Later we can be bipartisan to the max but ONLY after justice is served. When you compromise with criminals, it's all lose, lose, lose.

ps: Beware the Carville/Clinton DLC (Democratic Leadership Council), since here are the Democratic Party’s no risk, no change, professional non-boat-rockers. But since the Bush/Republicans have already about 2/3 sunk our Ship of State, some vigorous boat rocking is life and death. Once we're afloat again, we can afford the luxury of listening to the DLC.

1. I disagree....The battle for now is who can appear bi-partisan the longest
While both sides try to cram through what they can without the other side becoming enraged and partisan. The electorate wants action and bi-partisanship, so there will be this initial battle.

Then, after the ice has been broken, it will be time for hardball.

Don't think that while this bi-partisan feel good stage is going on that we arent preparing for battle. I just think that for now we are gonna have to try to outnice the other side while we tell them 'no' a lot.

3. what you SAY you are going to do isn't always

what you ultimately do.
