I am glad that Conyers will chair House Judiciary Committee!

Oh great! He's going to be influential on matters of legalities and investigations of this corrupt administration and he has possibly one of the best records of anyone in Congress on this. Terrific! They're going to have to struggle with these dumbasses Mrbush and cheney to get anything done. His constituents may not have elected him for anything related to immigration, but the judiciary committee with be a great place for him!

2. I had a dream...

...Conyers liberated from the basement of Congress where he toils in the mines of Justice in obscurity...and seated front and center and at the head of the House Judiciary Committee.

Talking about having a spine, Mr. Conyers is well qualified. Good morality and manners also.

I predict much more CSPAN streaming on this computer. I don't have television so the internet is how I get all of my information. I've been network and cable free for so long that when I moved out to the boonies six months ago and was told we don't have cable out here yet, it was no biggie. People were trying to get us to get satellite but we live just outside Seattle. I don't see that working so well and as I said, no desire anyway.

Chairman Conyers. That is one of the reasons so many of us voted straight ticket. Until 2000, I never voted straight ticket.

be facing tremendous pressure and a brutal regime that uses extreme tactics. He will need all the moral support that we can give.
