Judith Miller decries Bush Policies
You have got to be kidding me. Judith seeing the light? Try spinning with the political winds. Aspens anyone?

Former N.Y. Times reporter decries Bush policies

Liberties suffer, secrecy grows, reporter tells K-State crowd

By Jan Biles
The Capital-Journal

MANHATTAN -- Judith Miller, a former New York Times investigative reporter who went to jail to protect a confidential source, said the balance between national security and civil liberties has been tipped, allowing the Bush administration to become secretive about its decisions, intrusive into public lives and reluctant to share information the public has a right to know.

Miller said many Americans don't understand how their access to information and the freedom of the press have been affected in the past few years.

"We are less free and less safe," she said, explaining that there is a "growing secrecy in the name of national security."

Miller, who spent 85 days in jail for refusing to reveal a source in the Valerie Plame case, spoke Friday morning at Kansas State University as part of the "Community Readiness Communications: Accurate Messages in Times of Crisis" conference.

5. You helped them do it, Judy.
Judith Miller is an unindicted co-conspirator in the CIA leak.
She help the administration spread its lies and get back at
people who told the truth.

She says that journalists need shield protections, but
not the bloggers. They don't follow the standards
and ethics of the journalism industry.

Neither do you, Judy.

8. The queen of all fucking Iraq doesn't like Bush anymore?
Tell us about the guy in the baseball cap again, Judy. The one you never talked to, the one who was yards and yards away, walking back and forth and pointing at the ground. The one your handlers told you was pointing to where those bad old weapons of mass destruction had been. And you reported it, didn't you, Judy? Every last word, every syllable, without the least trace of irony or skepticism. And when the administration needed to bolster its shaky claims, they could always point to your credulous story and say see? The New York Times said so, too!

Shameful.

10. Judy was here yesterday...
...testifying in the Salah trial. The defense attorneys, based on what I read, really went after her credibility: http://www.suntimes.com/news/metro/135206,CST-NWS-salah14.article . I wish I'd known; I could have been there to convey my best wishes to her, and my thanks to her fro keeping me so well-informed. :sarcasm:

12. Secrecy? Ok, Judith, forget the WMDs, Chalabi, the Niger nuke forgeries,
your "Mata Hari" meetings with Libby, the billions of dollars "lost" in Iraq by Cheney's own company, your private "embed" contract signed by Donald Rumsfeld, and the 600,000 innocent people slaughtered, because of your lies in support of the most secretive administration in our history, and tell me why, in your news article obituary about David Kelly, you failed to disclose your close relationship with him, and the email he wrote to you on the day of his death, in which he expressed concern about the "many dark actors playing games." Why be so secretive about that, Judith? Hm?

Kansas State Unversity ought to be horse-whipped for treating this double-agent as a "journalist." And to allow Miller to spout off on "Accurate Messages in Times of Crisis" is an obscenity. Piles of corpses, rivaling Dachau and Auschwitz, cry out against it.
