UPDATE: Jennings vs Buchanon, Sarasota County elections
The undervote explanation at the Herald link is particularly interesting.

It didn't take long for the first legal action to be taken in the disputed congressional race, signaling how big a role the courts may ultimately play in deciding who represents the 13th District.

{snip}
One of the dozens of election observers questioned the procedures that Sarasota County Supervisor of Elections Kathy Dent was using. The recount got restarted 30 minutes later. Then, at the end of the day, Jennings' attorneys announced that they had filed an emergency petition with the Circuit Court to secure all voting machinery and data for possible further investigation.

1. So, what is it with "undervotes"? There is something wrong there.

2. Apparently, Jenning name was at the bottom of the screen and when people voted,
it didn't take making it look like they just did not vote for her. It's crazy here in Sarasota trying to get the real info about it all.

3. I think they have been using "undervotes" - among other things -
to steal elections.

4. Agreed. Among other ways to control the vote.
My feeling is that it's been going on for decades on both sides. That's probably an understatement, never mind undervote.

5. About the "undervote" thing - they would have you believe that
1 in 6 voters abstained from voting in that race, a "hotly contested" race; just as in 2004 they would have people believe that thousands of voters did not cast a vote for president.

That is counter-intuitive and contradicts historical fact.

Something stinks to high heaven with electronic voting that cannot be audited and something also stinks about these "undervotes."

6. Just got an email from the Jennings people.
Sounds like Jennings has picked up more votes from the provisional voting.
