Former President Bush Blames ‘Bloggers’ for ‘Ugly’ Political Climate

Last night on Fox News, former President George H.W. Bush said the current political climate has “gotten so adversarial that it’s ugly.” Asked to offer an explanation for why there is this “incivility,” Bush pinned the blame on bloggers. “It’s probably a little worse now given electronic media and the bloggers and all these kinds of things,” he said. 7. Two peas in a pod: Bush I and his grandmother. Oops. I mean wife.
They have an almost out-of-body way of blaming the world for the situation they find themselves in. It's a sort of constant "blame the messenger" syndrome.

Essentially, if Bush and his son want people to stop calling them losers and chimps, then they should STOP BEING LOSERS AND CHIMPS.

14. I've noticed that about wingnuts
For them its never the fault of the person who CAUSED a problem its always the fault of whoever POINTS OUT the problem. Abu Ghraib wasnt the fault of Bush, Rumsfeld and torturers its the fault of those who REPORTED the torture

10. Betcha ten bucks he thinks Democratic Underground is a blog.
These people are so out of touch, they repeat talking points and don't have a clue.

Guess what, Poppy? I blame the "incivility" on Hannity, Rush, Beck, Coulter, Rove, and of course your spawn, Little Lord Pissypants. Who was it that claimed the Clintons had removed all the "W's" from the White House keyboards.

Go bite yourself.

16. Horseshit!!! Look to ronnie reagan for the first rounds in this
era's ugliness; politics has always been ugly but the stuff we live with now is aided and abetted by the monstrous tide of corporate media and advertising.

20. Yup. It's difficult to control something that you can't invest to own.
And somehow the darn truth just keeps coming out, inspite of your best efforts to nip it in the bud.

21. No. The corporate controlled media is to blame for the current climate.
Also, Nixon and Reagan were proud dirty dealers in the realm of politics. They made it fashionalble to bash liberals and moderates as well as anyone who didn't tow the right wing line.

Its not his son's fault for screwing things up, its actually everyone else's fault for knowing about it and discussing it. That's so obvious! /sarc
