Gore-Clinton... and why I support them
Here is my reason of this ticket.

They are the most competent team for the following most important issues.

1. Energy and Global Warming
2. Health care
3. Education and reviving American middle class

Added bonus is the fact this team will be most effective at UN. They can send our good old Bill to UN, for god sake.

I also wonder they may remind Americans now 'look soooooooooo good' Clinton Era.

End of my argument.

P.S.
Many good politicians made mistakes in the past. This is why I focus on the competency of executive branch. I also believe some DUer's hostility against Hilary is more like RW sexist reaction

2. I know
But it's time to put everyone on the same page.
One thing I learned during Katrina. You don't want 'just another politician' in the white house. I want someone who can come up with real policies.

It's time for DLC and Progressives to come together.

I am not saying this ticket is easy. However, the focus on differences may delay the most important issue of our time.

Yes, for me, the most important issue is 'Global Warming' since there will be no earth as we know of if we don't take serious measures asap.

5. Well, if you care so much about this "planetary emergency"...
then do something about it yourself. Not to be rude, but I get so tired of people constantly calling for Al Gore to "save them" regarding this issue, when Al Gore is already making tremendous progress out here, or doesn't that matter? He has also expressed many times that he no plans to run for President again, and is enjoying the contributions he is now making to the world in calling on us to do OUR part. This also isn't a political issue, but a moral one that transcends Party, and we don't have until 2008 to begin to become serious about it.

3. HRC belongs in the Senate.
I'm against political dynasties occupying the White House, regardless of political leanings.

4. Iraq is more important than all three of those issues you listed
For one, it has cost hundreds of thousands of lives. Two, we won't have the money to deal with all of the issues you've listed if we continue to piss it away in Iraq.

The war must end before we are able to put domestic issues front and center again.
