a true difference in receptions--BAM !! and bush
the other night, I was watching foodtv (one of the very few networks I do watch) and there was a rerun of Emeril's show "Emeril's Thanksgiving with the Troops" at one of the air force bases (McGill, I think). His very special guest was Shoshanna Johnson

Quite apart from it being a real showing of support for our women and men in uniform, I loved seeing the incredible welcome he got--thousands of military personnel and their families, crowded into a hangar, to see Emeril, by choice. You could TELL they all wanted to be there, they all wanted to see him, to spend time with him. And, you could tell that he thoroughly enjoyed being with them, as well.

I have NEVER seen that sort of welcome for der chimpenfuhrer, never actually seen a look of sheer joy on his face, never seen thousands cheering him for ANY reason. Of course, * would never go into a crowd like that, has to have everyone near him checked out, makes them sign loyalty oaths, keeps dissenters blocks and miles away in truly "1984 "newspeak-named "free speech zones" I could see clinton in a crowd like that, being welcomed and cheered, enjoying being there, "pressing the flesh" (yes, you can make the obvious jokes here). what a pathetic, pitiful little creature we have in the people's house these days.
