I've got a question about Hillary for her supporters. |
|
I would characterize her senate career so far as one of caution, and incremental, minor legislation. How do we know that that sort of caution has become ingrained in her, and mark her presidency, even if the American people want more?

And I would add to that: what has Senator Clinton DONE, legislatively, that makes her more qualified than any of the other Democratic hopefuls for 2008? (excluding Clark, since he hasn't served in office)

9. Yep, that is the perfect spot for her for right now.. |
|
I don't think she is ready mentally for a presidential run. Her horizons need to expand and become more encompassing of all the problems we face, not just the ones she feels comfortable with addressing.

Your name along with Hillary's and all I could think about is how she let us down in '04.
After all she went through with the republicans and White Water, and she didn't go after them in '04. She had the goods, she could have saved us from a second term of Bush, but she didn't.
Maybe she'll speak up during her run for president. Then everyone will know she's only out for herself.

8. And winning an office doesn't even make her more qualified |
|
particularly against Clark, who actually stood up to his superiors and for his service men and women when it warranted it.

6. She's Boldly Gone Where Many Dems Dare Not Tread |
|
Draconian bankruptcy legislation... the "Patriot" Act... her attempt at criminalizing flag burning... fleeing from censure...
Well, she did give Rumsfailed some guff. That took imagination.
