Poll question: Clinton/Obama 2008?

2. .
:D

Agreed. If she gets the nomination, like everybody else here, I'd vote for her. But not quite my choice either.

3. Unless we want a Republican president in 08, Hillary shouldn't be on the ticket. nt

4. Oh.. and btw, Hillary only wins MEDIA polls...
And that's because they're polling a LOT of r-THUGS who would love like Hell to have her run.

But here's the deal....

She's never, EVER, EVER won a poll at DU, Smirking Chimp, My DD, Daily KOS, Kicking Ass, Democrats.com, or any other Democratic website that I've ever seen.

Seriously ---- has anyone here EVER seen a poll (outside of the major media or an on-line poll that freeps can manipulate in her favor) that she has won?

If it's Democrats voting, the answer would be NO.

It's the MEDIA who is having a wet dream over a Hillary Clinton / John McCain match-up.

DU has had close to 90,000 people pass through its doors at one time or another, and "Hill" has about 6 loyal supporters here....

I'm just sayin' ....

5. To be honest, we are the more left leaning, educated section of the Democratic party
...if we are in the Democratic party. Many of us also consist of third party Socialist/ Green/ progressive-like people who are not associated with the Democratic party and do not vote in Democratic primaries. I do think that the reason Hillary is so paopular by most Democrats(not associated with left leaning blogs) is because her husband did a good job and she is the most identified. Not a lot of people know about the other guys yet, but with successful campaigning, they definitely might!

6. Thank you!
It's the media who wants it. How obvious do they have to make it before it becomes apparent to even the most retarted! :eyes:

9. As I've said before, Hillary is a threat
to many. Why else has so much trash been heaped on her? I do not know her personally and so I can't say who she really is. But from what I have read, she has consistently worked for what I value: education, -health care, etc. She has become a lightening rod precisely because of her gender, brilliance, strength and hard work. Were she truly given a bully pulpit as in becoming a Presidential nominee, we would hear HER, not the loud voices decrying her.

BTW, I wonder if I am number 7, or one of the original 6?

Mary Bear of the Hillary 7.

11. I can see Hillary as president in 2016.
She is a great campaigner and is obviously a wonderful senator for New York. I think the country will be ready for a woman president in 8 years - succeeding the 8-year reign of Al Gore.
