3. I posted it. I was getting tired of the misrepresentations I was seeing here.
Sometimes, folks are so eager to prove a point that they flat-out make shit up (and some get mad when you call them on it, too!). It's all pots of tar and broad brushes.

That site is very useful for seeing how a politician really weighs in not just individual issues, but also in a macro fashion. You can get an idea of the totality of their viewpoints by looking at their voting record and the quotes they provide, as well as their associations and committee assignments. It's a very good tool, IMO.

And far too often, after checking the record, we see that politicians are not as conservative as some claim, and others aren't anywhere near as liberal as some might imagine.
