Hey, guys, want to start your donations to a Wes Clark for President campaign even before such a campaign starts?

This may be the real beginning of the Clark '08 campaign. Act Blue has negotiated an agreement with the FEC. Act Blue can collect contributions on behalf of prospective candidates. If for any reason the prospective candidate chooses NOT to run, the money will go to the DNC.

Clark's success in this new program is important for several reasons. Most importantly, substantial fundraising via Act Blue will give Wes Clark more credibility and reduce the speculation about his fundraising ability. Right now, Al Gore is winning this contest.
We need to do better.
