Got my first call for money from RNC
They didn't have themselves identified on my caller id.
Their initial pitch was for $75.

They must not have the database available to know that I am listed as hating bush.

1. Casting a very wide net. You have a phone - you qualify.

3. I would have asked
if my contribution of $75.00 would have been used to help defray court costs for the likes of DeLay, Ney, any fallout of Abramoff singing like a bird and possibly Foley. Then I would have laughed and hung up.

4. The sad part is that the guy making the call
is some poorly paid lackey with no particular awareness of what he's doing.

There is a call center in my town. It's largely staffed by people on Correctional supervision (probation or parole) who can't get real jobs. A lot of them buy into the RW insanity--it seems to fit well with their antisocial personalities. A lot of them found Jesus in jail. (No, I don't know what Jesus was in for.)

5. Could you tell what they were saying?
Or were they just babbling drunkenly about how the voters don't love them anymore?
