bush's first trip EVER to Vietnam
Listening to NPR this morning. Sounded like the announcer was trying to make a point.

Every Vietnam War Veteran should be insulted that our "commander in chief" will set foot in that country. Imagine not capable enough to make O-3 in uniform.

4. He wouldn't have made this trip, but
he read somewhere on the internets that the war was over. This assclown is an absolute disgrace. It is embarrassing that he is the face of this country overseas. If he had served in RVN we probably wouldn't be enduring his tenure in office today.

5. Someone needs to point this out to that Ho on CNN, the one
with the blond hair and big teeth. During the Mission Accomplished bullshit, she commented that she thought he had been a pilot IN Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Should have been enough to have John McCain calling in, but I never heard a correction.

7. The same coward whose daddy pulled strings to get his chickenshit son into
The National Guard at a time when joing the Guard was one of the safest ways to avoid having to go to Vietnam, and yet the little dipshit couldn't even honor his duty to the Guard and went AWOL.

8. He deserted to avoid a drug test
He is morally bankrupt as are his supporters.

He should be recalled to active duty, put in uniform, confined to a base, court martialed, found guilty and sentenced to hard labor for life. This is not ranting, this is what justice should be. Instead he will serve out his term and flee the truth and justice to a yet to be purchased ranch in Paraguay, a country with no extradition treaty with the U. S..

10. Remember in the 2000 campaign Bush pretended he had been in Vietnam?
I can't find the exact quote, but cocaine head said something like "When I was in Vietnam..."
insinuating he was actually there. What a disgusting chump. or chimp.

13. Busholini is delusional.
"...the United States' unsuccessful war in Vietnam three decades ago offered lessons for the American-led struggle in Iraq. "We'll succeed unless we quit," Bush said shortly after arriving in this one-time war capital...

"We tend to want there to be instant success in the world, and the task in Iraq is going to take awhile," the president said. He called the Iraq war a "great struggle" and said, "It's just going to take a long period of time for the ideology that is hopeful — and that is an ideology of freedom — to overcome an ideology of hate."

He made these statements while in Vietnam. Was he actually trying to say that the US could have stopped the re-unification of North and South Vietnam if the US Troops would have fought in Vietnam for a few more years?

"an ideology of freedom — to overcome an ideology of hate."

Here he is saying that the Iraqi Insurgency posess "an ideology of hate." Is is framing that the Insurgency is an evil force that he is fighting. This framing is for children, simplistic and an insult to America.

Vietnam, I would think the Vietnamese would consider that as an insult. Was that sort of saying if we fail in Iraq this will be the result. If that is what he believes why is he pushing to get them in the WTO? Wasn't the whole premise of the Vietnam war the Domino Theory and the very fact that the Domino Theory didn't play out proof we went over there based on a lie in the first place.

18. That wouldn't be fair to all the Vietnamese homes he'd
declare inhabitable for the good of the public. He'd probably do it if he could...no qualms about displacing families. The homeless in NO doesn't bother him either, so why should a couple puny Vietnamese homeless bother him now? He could make another cool couple of million on their backs too. How did we get this damn thoughtless, selfish, evil fool as our President?
