38. You need to understand the latest mindset at DU
Making fun of Mrs. Bush' attire is not sexist but making fun of Pelosi's is. Making fun of Santorum's daughter crying on the podium is OK. Making fun of Chelsea is not. Got it now?

17. I gotta tell ya .... I love the Pickles Fashion Reviews .....
She epitomizes 'no taste'.

Does she **ever** look in a mirror? or is she SO fashion chalenged she thinks this looks good?

I know this is shallow, but fuck it. She's the woman representing our country and she looks like a pile of old drapes ready to be hauled out in advance of a remodeling job.

And if that dress really IS old drapes, it begs the question: From where? A Reno whorehouse?

"And if that dress really IS old drapes, it begs the question: From where? A Reno whorehouse?"

Nah, couldn't be... red with a flocked pattern would actually be an improvement. One could do a nice mock-Elizabethan or 18th century style dress with the flocked curtains.

George- worst president ever
Laura- worst-dressed first lady (ever?)

28. looks like Vietnamese silk
all the SE Asian countries have their own unique silk "look". Vietnam's has more of a Chinese influence than, say , Thailand or Cambodia. The shiny, colorful thing is pretty Vietnamese... Probably worn as a goodwill gesture.

wore the very same dress in February to the Kennedy Honors of Performing Arts, I think. We even had the pic on this board. She was coming down a huge staircase and there were a coupla of * looking like he was stumblin'

I am a designer/seamstress so I am a gown watcher.
That dress is made of same fabric she wore to an inaugural dance, but that dress was in khaki orange.
hate the iridescent fabric for dresses btw, I do think they look like draperies.

straw, iridescent fabric emphasizes every figure flaw and makes you look at least two dress sizes larger than you really are. Iridescent fabric in day-glo colors and ... oh my.
