The Hill: McCain was a "strong Lott booster"
Funny, the media who are falling all over themselves trying to play up any division in the Democratic Party have been completely silent about the fact that their favorite "maverick" solidly backed a segregationist for Minority Whip.

1. Just thinking of what we did in Ohio about DeWine...
...and his connections to unpleasant people around here. The Noe/Taft/that Congressman who pled guilty/DeWine money swap: four faces with cartoon arrows tracing the cash direction. Then there was the photo of DeWine and Bush laughing together while children sang "The more we play together the happier we'll be." Yep, we got great things in store for McCain.
