Text of Abramoff email (So who wants to send Jack a message?)
Perhaps we can persuade him to finally repent and tell all, eh?

Text of Abramoff e-mail

snip

Several friends have inquired as to how to stay in contact during this next phase. Though I am grateful for this interest and would of course be thrilled by any contact, I hope that no one will feel at all obligated to be in touch during this time. Having said that, here is the situation.
The questions I have been asked revolve around the following topics: mail, visits, telephone and email.

Mail. Mail is probably the easiest way to stay in touch. Unfortunately, this means snail mail through the good old US Post Office. The federal prison system permits inmates to receive letters, photos and periodicals, but thats pretty much it. Unfortunately, if anything else is sent, it will either be destroyed or returned to you. As for letters, please bear in mind that the authorities have the right (and in my case probably will use it) to read all incoming and outgoing mail. Also, I almost certainly will want to write back to you and, since I dont know whether they are going to limit our stamps, envelopes and paper, if possible, perhaps you could include a self addressed, stamped return envelope and even a blank sheet of paper in that envelope. I am not sure that the return envelope will make it to me, but if not, youll know as soon as you get my return letter. In any event, as you can imagine, I will be beyond grateful for any mail from you. Here is my address at the prison:

3. Blocking
I believe that is the way that Jewish people write when mentioning GOD ,"G-D".
It is in his original letter.
(Think I heard that on Mike Malloy's program.)

4. Jews never write or say the name of god
It goes back to Moses asking god what his name was. In their tradition to know someone's name (or to write or speak it) gives you power over that person. That's why when Moses asked god for his name, god's answer was 'I am who am'. Slick way of giving a non-answer. Moses having the nerve to try and gain the power of his name is part of the reason god forbids him from entering the promised land.

... or so the story goes.

6. How much danger are Reid and Pelosi in?
Could someone bring me up to speed on the issue. From what I've heard, they want to go after the Democratic leaders, next.

7. None, that story has already been debunked
For those who were swallowing the anonymous sourced story from ABC.

Abramoff in with Dems? Former Colleagues Say No

"Jack has not met eight Democrats in Washington," one lobbyist told us.

He and others spoke on the condition of anonymity, because they did not want further publicity connecting them to Abramoff. Also, it should be noted that the lobbyists we spoke with continue to rely on access to lawmakers like Reid.

Ron Platt, a Democratic lobbyist who worked for a time with Abramoff on behalf of several clients and managed relations (such as they were) with Reid and other Democrats, said, "It's beyond my belief that he would have trusted a Democratic senator or house member."

"Jack Abramoff would never let any Democratic lobbyist, even on his team, manage one of his client matters," said Platt.
