So who is John McCain's running mate going to be?
Just wondering who the man who kissed Caesar's ring is going to pick to lose the 2008 election with him? Thoughts?

3. Newt Gingrich.
He is emminently qualified, having had ethics problems, having divorced his wife for his girlfriend while she was battling cancer and having attempted to conduct the affairs of the House in complete secrecy.

12. good pt.
if he GETS the nom, then it would probably be Chuck as VP pick. He's a moderate and better than McCain.

Frankly, if they pick McCain they cannot pick a nutjob to the right of him, they'll lose Ohio, Mich, Penn, and all the typical dem states on top of that (NY, CA, etc). It's not like we're telling them something they don't know, and I know they read our comments, oh well, the point is, McCain is a losing candidate in the making--- awesome!

17. he wont pick Graham because he is gay
and on 2nd thought i'm not sure he would pick Hagel either as Hagel can see the problems in war and how we can't always win.

i can see him going with Giuliani . or more likely some purple state Republican Governor if they are popular.

22. His running mate would be Richard Quinn if he had his say...
Richard Quinn Is McCain's South Carolina Spokesman, A Role He Also Played In 2000. As recently as December 23, 2005, Richard Quinn was identified as "McCain's South Carolina spokesman." A 2004 Vanity Fair piece on McCain's fall in the 2000 campaign identified Quinn as "the McCain (2000) campaign's South Carolina strategist." (Spartanburg Herald-Journal, 12/23/05; Vanity Fair, 11/04)

Quinn Was Founder and Editor In Chief Of A Magazine "Rabidly Devoted" To Confederate Heritage And Maintained Ownership Of The Magazine In 2001. Quinn was the editor in chief of The Southern Partisan magazine, which was described by Vanity Fair as "rabidly devoted to the South's Confederate heritage." Following the 2000 McCain campaign, Quinn "removed his name from the magazine's masthead to avoid further damage to the political candidates that are his clients...but he continues as part owner." (Vanity Fair, 11/04; The State, 2/9/01)

--
Quinn Wrote Against Naming A Holiday After King, Calling It "Vitriolic and Profane," and a Celebration of A Man Whose Legacy Was "To Lead His People To Perpetual Dependence." In a 1983 column arguing against the recognition of Martin Luther King Day, Quinn wrote, "King Day should have been rejected because its purpose is vitriolic and profane... By celebrating King as the incarnation of all they admire, they (black leaders) have chosen to glorify the histrionic rather than the heroic and by inference they spurned the brightest and the best among their own race...Ignoring the real heroes in our nation's life, the blacks have chosen a man who represents not their emancipation, not their sacrifices and bravery in service to their country; rather, they have chosen a man whose role in history was to lead his people into a perpetual dependence on the welfare state, a terrible bondage of body and soul."(Partisan View, Southern Partisan, Fall, 1983)

Quinn Advocated Electing David Duke To "Tweak the Establishment." In 1989, Quinn wrote, "What better way to reject politics as usual than to elect a maverick like David Duke? What better way to tweak the nose of the establishment?" (Partisan View, Southern Partisan, Winter, 1989)

-- Quinn's Magazine Sold T-Shirt Celebrating Lincoln's Assassination. In 2000, Southern Partisan sold a T-Shirt bearing Lincoln's likeness and the legend "Sic Semper Tyrannis," the phrase shouted by Booth after he shot Lincoln. In 1995, the magazine sent out letters under Quinn's name as editor-in chief saying that the shirt was sold out but that they would be happy to "ship you another equally militant shirt from our catalog."

McCain Refused to Fire Quinn, Calling Him "Highly Respected."

McCain is a disgusting RACIST. Who gives a crap who his running mate will be? Do a few Google searches on McCain's racist background... You'll be completely disgusted.

The reelected Republican governor of Minnesota. "Boyish good looks" and executive experience in a purple swing state, with potential to make inroads throughout other purple parts of the Midwest.
