When I could get to CNN, I would turn it on during my recent trip there. A journalist followed a typical day in a U.S. military hospital in Bagdad (I think; it could have been another major city)and filmed casualties being treated as they came in. He interviewed doctors, nurses and other medics, with commentary about how the experience was affecting them. It was painful to watch these kids coming in, badly injured and trying to endure their obvious pain bravely. They also brought in a little 4 year old Iraqi girl who had been shot in the head (by insurgents). The doc told the surgical staff "This is not going to have a good outcome" to help them deal with the inevitable. They got the father and brother of the girl to come in and hold her hand while she died. It was just devastating.

I was just wondering if that documentary was being shown on CNN here. I kind of doubt it, but I just though I'd ask...

6. Which is why I thought it wouldn't be on here.
It was too brutally honest.

God, I am hoping the Dems will do something about letting Americans see what is really going on in Iraq. Maybe holding hearings on the White House keeping the lid on the truth in the media. Let's hope things will start looking up!

7. CNN is running it over and over over here in America. I've watched
it with appalled fascination several times. I think it should be require viewing for everyone in the fucking world. these docs and techs and nurses are amazing people.
