What's the likelihood that Foley will eventually decide to "tell all" ?

I'm not talking about him being gay ... Although, I think it would be a highly refreshing change to hear him explain (in his own words) why he thinks it is that gay Republicans are so ashamed of their sexual preference that they are encouraged to go to such extremes to hide it?

How can they push completely opposite agendas than what they believe in in their own hearts?

I'm wondering if Mark Foley will decide to be completely honest during the upcoming investigation?

I'm wondering if he'll decide to provide (to his best recollection) as much clarification as possible as to what he was told to do after the initial misconduct was discovered? (over 2 years ago)

The media said that Foley was told by Republicans to "cut it out" with the "over friendly" e-mails and left it at that. Or as Tony Snow called them... "naughty e-mails" .. ( Tony!)

Was his "safe seat" in Florida's 16th District so much of a priority that they purposely failed to investigate his visit to the Page Dorm on Capital Hill, staggering and intoxicated?

Is Foley oblivious to anything that Hastert was told of initially -- -- or does he know exactly what kind of man Mr. Dennis Hastert is?

Mark Foley needs to continue seeking the help he's receiving for sure - - but in the process, if he also wants to free his soul completely, he should come clean about how his one-time Republican comrades handled the initial situation behind the scenes.

He should explain why (in his opinion) Congressman Dale Kildee (D) was left out of all discussions concerning the inappropriate contact.

They mentioned on one of the Sunday shows a week or so ago that Rove was heavily involved with keeping the Foley matter mum.

When you read about how he said that he had let his father down at his funeral today, it makes you wonder if he'll keep his lips tight in the future?

"Foley walked to the front of the church, his face wet with tears, sank into a front pew and wiped his face with both hands. He was not the smiling, tanned politician pictured in press conferences standing next to President Bush. His face was pale and lined".

Maybe step 6 of whatever steps he's in will enlighten him? -- What does he have to lose?

Since the FBI investigation is now criminal, maybe Foley will speak up as part of a plea deal - - or because it's the right thing to do?

I still can't believe Hastert was re-elected!! ..

But I can't help but think that Foley will eventually tell all ... Anyone else think so too?

1. I suspect he'll claim to be "saved" and "cured"
Pray to Jaysus to turn him straight and be contrite about being gay, blame it on the priest, paint it as perverted, etc..

He might play ball with an investigation into a coverup, but hoping for an epiphany on the insanity and cruelty of fundie homophobia and what living with all that shame does to a closeted gay RW Republican might be hoping for too much from this guy.

Ok Monkey, now I'm corn-fused...

EDIT -- duh... it just hit me.. John Laesch.

You are RIGHT -- he was AWESOME!

But I still think Hastert's ass is grass and the FBI is the mower..

Chip Reid (NBC) said we'll be hearing more about Denny's efforts to keep this hush, hush soon enough.

8. How much honesty will $1 million buy?
Because that will probably the minimum price of Foley's book deal.

9. Foley won't come forward again with anything unless the people who...
maneuvered (ie; ordered) him into position to have his evils exposed feel like having him "bare his soul" some more.
