He's not an elected dem politician, he's a hack, and he did something demonstrably bad, and counterproductive. He deserves everything he gets. As for Hillary, I'm not a fan, but I don't bash her, or call her names like idiot. The piling on to Charlie Rangel struck me as particularly absurd, and I'm pointing it out. Really, it's that simple.

DU is more viscious to Dems than Free Republic. There is no Dem they won't shred to bits at the drop of a hat. Every one we are blasting now has been a hero at some point in the last couple of years. The Clintons, Carville, Rangel. The ones we love now have been anathema in the past--Dean (remember his Confederate Flag comment?), Murtha (one of Bush's biggest supporters for a while), etc.

But that's democracy. That's probably the way it should be. It keeps our leaders from getting a swell head. Unlike the Repubs, who worship heroes despite all evidence that they are failures.
