originating neo con Joshua Muravchik spoke nonsense on W.J.

he's one of the original pnac boys and was on c-span's Wash. Journal this morning.

he is all up for bombing Iran

he said neo cons are mostly intellectuals and scribblers.

and dissing neo cons is unpatriotic.

he kept calling neo cons, including himself, as liberals.

most of his blathering style made me think of Rummys blathering style.

actually what he had to say was nothing more then ramblings about his 'intellectual scribbles' :)

he was such a jerk I had to laugh

1. He is really getting out there.
He was even on Democracy Now recently (was a complete jerk)

He also had an editorial in the LATimes "Bomb Iran".

2. I was so angry I tried to call in for the first time!
I don't know the whole history of neocons, but find it VERY hard to believe that they were originally liberals like he kept saying, and the way he kept saying neocons believe in human rights made me wanna puke... human rights like not being tortured, not being spied on and being allowed to travel without background checks???

I kept wanting someone to ask him WHY we would want to save neocons (his new book is called How to Save the Neocons).

4. He is right that many were liberals but so what? As for defending the patriotism of
neo cons, where was he when the Bush operatives were trashing Max Cleland and when John Murtha was being called a coward on the floor of the House. Cuts both ways, baby.

3. He was on Democracy Now
with Amy Goodman on free speech tv last week. He was debating George McGovern & Dennis Kucinich. The topic was Iraq war plans. The guy just couldn't get the format where you let someone talk in full sentences and give them time to explain their stance in detail. He accused of Amy Goodman of cutting him off and not the other guy when she interrupted to get him to clarify something he said. Amy pointed out she had interrupted both McGovern & Kucinich. Then she let him rant for a minute or two about not being able to speak then silence when he realized he had the mike to explain his stance. He was also thrown by having to speak for several minutes, his arguements would fall apart. His talking points were limit to a few phrases so he had to fill for time to sound as articulate as the others. He came off like a complete idiot.
