Hillary: What The Heck Happened To Her Voice?!
I keep reading that Mr. and Mrs. Clinton have distanced themselves from Carville. For example, The Raw Story is carrying the headline "Clinton abandons Carville over Dean".

Every story points back to the same Rupert Murdoch paper article, which says only:

"It was not coming from and they made a real effort to distance themselves from James' comments," from a "source close to the Clintons"

Others have personally distanced themselves from Carville's garbage. Even Rahm has.

Is something so precious about Mrs. Clinton that prevents her from using her mouth? :o It worked fine when she went after Kerry recently!

This is not distancing: It's spin, spin, spin.

I've not be able to find out - but anyone wanna bet on whether Carville's on Mrs. Clinton's payroll? Anyone? Anyone at all?

1. Many people are used to having their cake and eating it too.
That's what her life has always been about.

Being able to make an observation does not necessrily include, nor exclude, any particular feeling about what is being observed.

I'm satisfied with myself; I don't need to be Hillary or anyone else.

I just don't see what it is that all of us are supposed to see in her.

4. The point is, the Republican MSM are connecting Hillary to Carville...
...and it would be a smart thing for her to come out publicly and denounce Carville's attacks on Dean herself.

If not, the rumor will become "fact", and Hillary will alienate herself from the netroots they need, but don't really like.

Hillary is a shrewd politician. She knows that rumors, and speculation can become fact if not crushed immediately leaving the netroots hanging until we decide that the rumor is true, and that ain't good for Hillary's prospects for the WH in '08.

Question is: Why isn't she doing it?

3. Give a day or two and Mary will be demonizing Democrats
for 'throwing her husband under the bus just like they did with Joe Lieberman.' As soon as Wolfie's back, he'll be on top of The Situation and get Right to the bottom of this!

5. How about that. She can use it to stab kerry in the back, but to
denounce the efforts of one of her biggest promoters, Carville, she uses spokespeople.

10. Their hobby IS Hillary watching...
they dissect every move she makes then spin it into something cryptic.
Someone taught one of them the Latin words, Cui Bono..

Now everything relates back to: "Who benefits?"

sort of halfassed Mickey Spillane mystery wannabees.

12. I belive that'd be Qui bono.
Literally, to whom good, or good to whom, ergo "Who benefits?"

13. Carville was doing the Clinton's dirty work
Hillary is now trying to maintain a public "plausible deniability" that they have been behind this all along.

16. Maybe she figures Carville is not worth her time or effort
not to mention that it really would be silly for her to get in the middle of a fight at the DNC, which really has nothing to do with her.

Have any other potential Democratic candidates said anything about it? If not, why should she be held to a different standard?
