2. Sucks that 44% of Virginians still approve of this criminal. No accounting for smarts or taste. |

And if Bush backs polygamy, will Laura feel that her marriage is threatened?
Stay tuned... As the Bush Whacks...

4. So his "state approval rating" has been halved in the past 6 months. . . |
|
I seem to remember there were 4 states with positive approval rates in early Summer.
Years ago, we used to proudly proclaim on this site we were "the 10-percenters," the sliver of sanity that disliked Bush as much in October 2001 as we had in August 2001. To think, I may yet see another day when there'll be another 10% faction in the States, comprised this time though by those who support him!

7. Having lived in Idaho, I'm not surprised |

In fairness, there are some liberals there (most of the ones I met were from out of state, though) but they are overwhelmingly outnumbered by the Kool-Aid drinkers.

but relief too. I saw this headline and immediately thought "oh please don't let Nebraska be one of them". I KNEW we'd be close and in the top 10 and that's bad enough for me.
The travails of a red state Dem are many and varied as most people know, and I doubt they'll get much better given the immediate collapse of anything remotely approaching bipartisanship from the Reps - Bolton and Social Security privatization???

11. Did you see the Blue/Red congressional map? The south is extremely blue and just as blue |
|
as most of the rest of the country.
And now this...
Hmmm...not only is the South bashing divisive and unproductive but it has no basis in fact!
