If Newt runs in 08, will the media treat him as reverently as they did Smirk? |
|
The media refused to pursue Smirk's drunkeness, marital problems, drug abuse, multiple arrests, and repeated, abysmal failures at everything he ever attempted in life. Will they ignore all of Gingrinch's flaws as well? Or will they ram Romney down our throats during the GOP primary so they won't have as much hard work to due during the general?

3. They can't anymore..... |

...one of the truly amazing chapters of American politics has just unfolded before our eyes, the ascendency of the bloggers. No longer will empty, vapid suits like Little Monkey and Salamander get a pass from the microscope. The level of vigilance from progressive blogs has truly been amazing to watch and the MSM has been put to shame over the abdication of their traditional role of overseers of the public domain. Combined with the rising voices of righteousness such as Randi Rhodes, Mike Malloy, Tom Hartmann, Sam Seder, Al Franken, et. al., every candidate for national office will have to suffer the scrutiny of thousands of dedicated patriots.
Long live freedom, democracy and liberty, and may we always keep them.

4. I hope you're right, but |

let's not forget that within a month AAR will be gone, and the ultra-right will again have a monopoly on the airwaves. We'll have Olbermann and a few internet radio voices and that will be about it. And the MSM has already made GHWB into a saint, they might well do the same with Newt.

5. I wouldn't be too sure about AAR being gone.... |

...maybe off of terrestial radio, which is turning into a vast wasteland anyway, but the new vista of satellite radio beckons.

Then this should be the #1 issue: http://www.propagandacritic.com/articles/examples.newt.html">Propaganda Critic: Examples > How Newt Gingrich used these techniques Then the Dems could call for logic courses in high school and shut down their propaganda machine once and for all.

7. Wasn't Newt asked to leave due to ethics violations? |
|
This is one of the bad guys. Don't let him get into a position of influence, much less potential direct access to power.
