1. Webb needs some time in front of a TV camera |
|
He just doesn't have the campaign experience yet.

2. Why would you put Webb first? |
|
He hasn't been mentioned for the top spot at all. Ever. Until now, that is.

If people are worried about Obama's alleged "lack of experience," how would they justify Webb at the top of the ticket?

4. Webb has experience in FP and some in domestic politics, just not 'elected' politics. nt |

9. Agree. Webb is very smart, but he isn't "approachable" if you |
|
know what I mean. I saw him at the debate, and even though he was right-on about the issues, the didn't seem like he was "in his element."

I have watched him on a few interviews and I really like his attitude about our domestic issues, like too much spread from rich to poor, dangers of corporations, trade. I agree he needs to polish his delivery, but I think he's a sincere, real person who wants to do right. We still have almost two years, so who knows what can happen.

8. Webb will be endorsing Gen. Clark for Prez. |
|
It was Clark who encouraged Webb to run. It was Clark's troops that gave Webb groundgame during the Dem primary. Clark endorsed Webb in March of 2006.....
Clark's negotiated peace treaties and led winning wars.
Webb would like to know what it's like to be a senator. That's why he ran. Give him the opportunity.
We've already got 6 senators running. Ain't that enough?

10. The more I hear about Clark the more I'm impressed by the man. |
|
Will he (or anyone) have enough money to challenge the Hillary mega-buck streamroller?

11. That is the mega-buck question, isn't it? |

When the Corporate media is not your friend or their agenda is to promote others less qualified, it will be a tough hoe to row. But there is always us Americans that can send the message that the media will not be picking our candidates for us based on how many stops on their booktours! :eyes:
