Did anyone else watch Dobson on Larry King?
That Dobson is one hateful, hypocritical SOB. I don't think his Gestapo organization - Focus on the Family - should be tax exempt.

3. I was prepared for his evil, bigoted opinions
but was a little surprised by how just-plain-dumb he is.

5. yeah....
...when he tried to say the name of the leader of Iran and fumbled it and then said "oh, however he pronounces it...." -- that was a very demeaning statement, IMO.

I think he's losing his edge. He doesn't look well.

6. He did seem medicated or something
I've never actually heard him talking, just read his stupid opinions in print. He makes Falwell look intelligent by comparison (no easy task).

4. We need people to start recording his comments and sending them to the IRS
He is clearly a partisan hack. SO you are absolutely correct, his organization should not be tax exempt.

I did not watch him on Larry King last night. So out of curiousity, what B.S. was he spouting?

Did he say Haggard needs prayer and forgiveness?

7. Yup.
I thought I heard larry ask him about Foley, and at the end of the comment, larry said "well you lost one there" (clearly referring to the Republican seat in Congress) and Dobson answered "Yes, we did".

that's pretty close to a party affiliation.

8. " It was not hypocrisy. It was a struggle between behavior and the belief system."
This was the dirtbag's response to a question about Haggard being homosexual and speaking out against homosexuality, and if that was hypocrisy.

Hey dumbass, the definition of hypocrisy is: "a pretense of having a virtuous character, moral or religious beliefs or principles, etc., that one does not really possess."

So isn't a "struggle between behavior and the belief system" indeed hypocrisy???? It was all could do to keep from puking watching him spew his hatred and Larry King handling him like he was royalty.

11. So here's what I'm thinking, then..
We all know that CNN puts up transcripts from Larry King's show on their website.

Perhaps once they have the transcript up (if they don't already), then we should all copy and paste the transcript (particularly that portion you referenced about them losing Foley's seat) and we should send it to whatever division in the IRS deals with organizations' tax exempt status. We just send it to them, and request that they investigate Dobson and Focus on the Family.

Also, for those of you with representation in Congress (being from DC, that is something I am without, you should also send that to your Congressmen/women and your Senators, and request that THEY write a letter to the IRS as well.

Remember the IRS investigated this "liberal" pastor who gave a sermon before the 2004 election?

Now this pastor did not even mention George W. Bush. He just said to vote your consccience, and remember that Christ was a man of peace, not war.

Well, they investigated him.

I think Dobson is worthy of investigation too.

10. Did Dobson shake his winky at him
"Meanwhile, the boy's father has to do his part. He needs to mirror and affirm his son's maleness. He can play rough-and-tumble games with his son, in ways that are decidedly different from the games he would play with a little girl. He can help his son learn to throw and catch a ball. He can teach him to pound a square wooden peg into a square hole in a pegboard. He can even take his son with him into the shower, where the boy cannot help but notice that Dad has a penis, just like his, only bigger."

13. I don't listen to politicians with an IQ in single digits.
Sure, Dobson poses as a religious nut, but he's really a guy with a political agenda. Dobson is
just stupid. He speaks like a fucking moron.
