32. That's the first one I thought of
But there's also the one about "hitting the trifecta" on 9-11, and the one about watching the first plane fly into the WTC live, on a TV in a school hallway that was "obviously on".

21. A Freudian slip of the first magnitude for W actually spoke the reality of the entire
extreme RW agenda, to wit, he spoke a rare truth: every major policy initiative, every law enacted, all fiscal and tax policies, all environmental policies, most foreign policies, the PNAC policy of pre-emptive wars, all have harmed this country, possibly beyond repair, for the harm quite likely is irreparable.

6. How to choose, how to choose
Edited on Thu Nov-23-06 03:50 PM by seasonedblue
I picked all of them.

I'll donate to his library just to see these highlighted under spotlights and glossy paper.

Here's a few of mine.

"As you can possibly see, I have an injury myself—not here at the hospital, but in combat with a cedar. I eventually won. The cedar gave me a little scratch."—After visiting with wounded veterans from the Amputee Care Center of Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas, Jan. 1, 2006

"Secondly, the tactics of our—as you know, we don't have relationships with Iran. I mean, that's—ever since the late '70s, we have no contacts with them, and we've totally sanctioned them. In other words, there's no sanctions—you can't—we're out of sanctions"—Anandale, VA., Aug. 9,2004

"I'm honored to shake the hand of a brave Iraqi citizen who had his hand cut off by Saddam Hussein."—Washington, D.C.", May 25, 2004

"More Muslims have died at the hands of killers than—I say more Muslims—a lot of Muslims have died—I don't know the exact count—at Istanbul. Look at these different places around the world where there's been tremendous death and destruction because killers kill."—Washington, D.C., Jan. 29, 2004

This is a great thread; Wish we could keep it growing!

tough choice as it is.

I mean, I don't think an American President has lost an ENTIRE CITY since the War of 1812, unless Jefferson Davis counts.

I'll never forgive "the president" for that one. I have nephews serving and nothing better happen to them. The nerve of that asshole to challenge the terrorists when he is safe in Washington surrounded by armed Secret Service. Meanwhile, we have soldiers in Iraq fighting a guerrilla war.

"Too many OB-GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country."

I chose the "Have More" quote before I got to the end and realized the last one was the best answer.

27. How bout
"All Americans can take pride in the example our democracy sets for the world by holding elections even in a time of war?"
Or how bout:
"Never again in the halls of Washington, D.C., do I want to have to make explanations that I can't explain."

I think he may end up being your most quoted pretzledent ever! Not just quoted in your own country but worldwide. And he has two more years to give us wonderful quotable quotes. An inspiration to us all.

"There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on .... shame on you. Fool me ....(incredibly long and painful pause, as Bush searches through his fractured memory)-- you can't get fooled again. "

Bush gets halfway through the joke, fucks it up completely, and instead of starting over or admitting he got it wrong, he forges ahead, turning a mistake into a complete and total fiasco. Kind of like he's done in Iraq. Kind of like he's done with everything he's been involved in his entire life.

APRIL 30, 2001 - BUSH ADMINISTRATION SAYS BIN LADEN FOCUS WAS "MISTAKE": The Bush Administration released the government's annual report on terrorism, but unlike previous Administrations, it decided to specifically omit an "extensive mention of alleged terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden. A senior State Department official told CNN the U.S. government made a mistake in focusing so much energy on bin Laden." Similarly, AP reported in 2002 that the Bush Administration's "national security leadership met formally nearly 100 times in the months prior to the Sept. 11 attacks yet terrorism was the topic during only two of those sessions."
