1. We got a Dem Secretary of State in Minnesota, too.
Mark Ritchie will replace the odious Republican Mary Kiffmeyer, who has done her best to ruin Minnesota's reputation as one of the states with the most liberal voting regulation by trying, mostly unsuccessfully, to come up with ways to suppress voter turnout. Fortunately, she will be gone soon.

2. California!
We're replacing Arnold-installed Bruce McPherson (R) with anti-Diebold Debra Bowen (D, natch). Originally, we had Kevin Shelley who was "forced" out by some cooked-up scandal, thus, the Arnold installation.

4. Nancy Boyda, second district of KANSAS
That's my district, clearly. My canvassing paid off, the 50 bucks I sent her paid off, it was so sweet. We beat an ultra Conservative(Literally one of the most Conservative members of Congress) 5 term 10 year incumbenet. This was a rematch. She lost by 15% last time and won this time by 4%.

Nancy Boyda FTFW!!

I am in KC but my friends and I went to Lawrence and Topeka to help Nancy out.

7. Sweet!

She so totally rocks!

I'm trying to set up an event to have her come down to my former High School's American Government class and sort of have a forum with the students. I worked hard on her campaign and sent her 50 or so bucks, she owes me. ;)

I'll post it about it on DU and tell you all how it goes! Won't be till after Christmas though.

8. Here's an interactive map from the DNC
http://www.democrats.org/a/2006/11/2006_election_r_1.php

I do see they have the ones in recount listed as wins, so watch for that.

Also here's the Wiki page, which looks pretty accurate.
