Poll question: Who will be the first to be impeached?
Vote your choice. Nothing is off the table.
Cheney should go first.

3. They Will Resign As Soon As It Becomes Clear that We Have the Votes to Impeach

We're not there yet, obviously. Investgate, and soon, we will be.

4. I am not sure that Cheney should be first
If you impeach and remove bu$h first, then Cheney, who would offically take over the Oval Office, would constantly be exposed to the sunlight. His approval ratings would dip into the single digits, and the rats would be like lemmings jumping off his sinking ship.

5. A powerful new scandal is required.
To shock us into nullifying the statements made that no impeachment will occur. Otherwise it ain't gonna happen.

6. There is a backlog of "scandals" that will wash away this "administration"
not the blood it has spilled, nor the damage it has caused.

If the newly elected Democratic leadership merely allows the overwhelming testimony of this backlog into investigations there will be the votes needed for impeachment and criminal charges will follow.

I don't want to speculate on what might occur if Bush and Cheney aren't held accountable anymore.

The stymied backlog of justice denied is a crime in itself.

7. Yes, the backlog is such a big thing its become a bit of a blur...
It may take some very sharp focus on a specific thing to acheive the necessary awareness on the part of the people of the scope of the issues...

8. Cheney will be first!
He will be exposed first for his part in flim-flamming California on the Enron endorsed electricity thing a few years ago. He had secret meetings some time before that happened, and was knowledgable and complicit in the events.

9. Forget Bush/Cheney...
... they're going to be out of power in two years anyway.

If you really want to get the Repugs attention, start with Roberts. Then go for Alito, Scalia and Thomas. They're there for life.

10. They'll resign first
and will get pardons later. Just like Nixon.

11. Other: Bush and Cheney together
They are both guilty of impeachable offenses. They are co-conspirators in many of the same crimes.

It makes sense to rid the nation of both of them at once.

With that, the rest of the cabinet and other criminal aides lose their jobs.
