1. The sooner the better
since they shouldn't have been there to begin with.

Of course, that might require giving the Iraqis back their oil and BushCo has no desire to do that.

2. I never understand how some people in these polls....
have no opinion. How can you have no opinion on something of this magnitude. I voted yes!

3. yeah, that was my thought as well
time for those with 'no opinion' to crawl out from underneath their rock and get one, since it's being executed in their name. :grr:

4. What kind of plan does Hagel call for?
Edited on Mon Nov-27-06 08:42 AM by malikstein
Planning to pull out by helicopter from the roof of the American embassy in 10 years is a plan, but I don't support it. Pulling out all US troops and equipment by 1 March, 2007 is a plan I could support.

This is from the AP updated story.

Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, a potential presidential contender in 2008, said "it's not too late for the United States to extricate itself honorably from an impending disaster in Iraq."

"If the president fails to build a bipartisan foundation for an exit strategy, America will pay a high price for this blunder - one that we will have difficulty recovering from in the years ahead," Hagel wrote in Sunday's Washington Post.

6. "United States to extricate itself honorably"
Hagel is in a dream world. There is no honor to be had from the Iraq debacle. The only honorable extrication would have had to occur prior to the invasion.
