Anyone hear Tucker Carlson refer to Islam as a violent religion?
Edited on Mon Nov-27-06 11:27 AM by Maraya1969
Referring to the Pope's visit to Turkey he just (paraphrasing the first part) "The people in Turkey are protesting the Pope's visit because the Pope refereed to Islam as brace yourself a violent country.

I heard a sarcastic affirmation of Tucker saying the religion of Islam is inherently violent.

EDIT for clarity

3. Saying something like that is exactly why the people are mad and protesting in the streets!!
We know for sure now that Carlson is a bigot. The Pope has rethought his words and is trying to make amends and this clown just affirms what he said in the first place.

Can you imagine if someone made that type of comment about the snafu that Michael Richards said?

8. i guess he forgot all about the crusades, the inquisition, burning witches,
the pogroms, and nazi germany for starters, when picking a violent religion. and i guess we need to add george bush to the christian espousing war mongers list.
