Biden kicks off post-election primary quest in SC
(Columbia-AP) November 27, 2006 - Senator Joe Biden is making his first presidential primary visit to South Carolina after the November 7th elections.

Those elections put Democrats in control on Congress and will elevate Biden to the next chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in January.

Republicans gained ground in South Carolina, picking up an eighth statewide office. Republicans control the South Carolina House and Senate.

It's Biden second presidential bid. He announced his candidacy in 1987, but withdrew three months later.

I don't think he will win either...but he may do better than many think...

He is very intelligent, has an excellent sense of humor, is a good debater, and a good public speaker...

He connects very well with people one to one...

5. Yes, I remember how well he connected with Anita Hill
I think his behavior during the hearings was despicable and I hope it comes back to haunt him.

6. Yes, he will get some good press.....
But anyone who remotely can buy into any sincerity in his rethorics has got to be a terrible interior decorator; as it would be a case of very bad taste.

7. I like Biden a lot. Not my cup of tea in a Presidential election, but I think
he's a great asset in the Senate.
