Anyone see him on hardball he and Joe Trippi were talking about possible 08 candidates on the dem side QUOTE:We want Hillary as the 08 Presidential candidate because we know what a winning Democrat looks like in a Presidential election and she isn't one and we know how to beat her.

1. Gawd, he is such an ass
I wish Trippi had shown a little more spine when Obama came up and Ed blew off his possible candidacy as a "do nothing, no record" guy. If Chris had been on it would have been Hardball.

4. I don't like the guy either, but he's right about Hillary.
They DO know how to beat her. They don't know how to beat Gore - hell, they didn't beat him the last time he ran!

12. They underestimate Hillary at their own peril.
She has some obvious drawbacks, but this is not the same woman who was First Lady in the 1990's.

She and her people know what they're doing.

16. I agree
I was a Hillary nay-sayer until recently, but then I realized that there's more to her than meets the eye. She will be an interesting candidate.

5. I think Ed Rogers is a woman in a suit. He is too feminine!
He knocked down every Democrat named like who really cares what HE thinks.

9. What if it's a reverse psychology ploy? Remember...
That's what those jokesters said about Dean too. I don't care what anyone says, Rove was scared to death of Dean--but luckily, the MSM did the dirty work for them.

14. No he didn't, the 24hr cable 'news' networks destroyed him.

15. His campaign had problems before that
He got 18 pereent to Kerry's 38 and Edwards' 32 (I think). As he was widely predicted for months to win - this was WAY below expectations.

18. Media made it out like Dean imploded but they were just covering up their own
blame for bad journalism - they had been over-reporting Dean's strength on the ground and under-reporting Kerry's since November 2003 in Iowa.

They trumped up the scream to turn the story away from how they had been wrongfully reporting to make it appear like the problem was ALL Dean.

Corpmedia is SCUM.

23. uh huh and I bet over 90%
of you said the same thing about Bill Clinton when he announced and after the election of 92 that 75% all said , "we were with him from the beginning"....
Well, I am for Hillary and until she says different and decides not to run then I will support her, and I will not have to come back in 09 and say, "Oh, I was with her all the way".
Oh and one other thing. If she decides to run, she will win and be the nominee, and will win the presidency later on that year....

24. Of all the 'puke pundits, Rogers is the very worst.
He's in the "Dems didn't win, we lost" camp. An absolute idiot. If things keep going the way they are, we'll be able to run Bozo the Clown in 2008 and win.
