Does the US have secret plans to support the Sunnis in Iraq? |
|
Seems I read a comment about this somewhere? But I cannot find the article...
But it would sound par for the course for our intelligence and our present leaders. We overthrow the Sunni dictator but then, the Shiites take control. The Shiites are mostly allied with Iran. Iran becomes our enemy so our allies in Iraq become our enemies also. Then our enemies in Iraq, the Sunni, become our allies. Witness the attack by the Sunni on the Sadr City the other day. Of course, the Ayatollah Sadr is a Shiite and he is now the most dangerous man in the world? Confused yet?

would mean that we have, Any Plan at all. I believe that such would be a considerable stretch for the current administration to achieve. We have been operating under the Plan is that we Have No Plan for the very first.

after I read this report by Tom Hayden on the Huffington post website. He said there was talk with the Sunni groups about sharing or taking power. It's as you say. Bush & co have realized that when we leave, the puppetmasters for Iraq will be in Iran.
