Kerry says it's time to move on
- Enough with The Joke,John Kerry says. The Massachusetts senator and former Democratic presidential nominee said Wednesday night that it's time to move on from his botched attempt at humor before the midterm election.

Kerry had said young people might get "stuck in Iraq" if they do not study hard and do their homework. He said he was trying to poke fun at President Bush, but Bush and others accused him of criticizing the troops.

"This is getting silly," Kerry said on CNN's "Larry King Live." "The country needs to think about a policy that has young men and women at risk on a daily basis that is not working."

Kerry also said he has not decided yet whether he will run for the White House again in 2008.

2. I hope John kerry doesnt get the 2008 nod
Didnt he say before the 2004 election, that he wouldnt concede until every last vote is counted and he wouldnt concede if he thought some sort of fix was in, and theb he ended up conceding the night of the election.

8. No he didn't say that
He never said anything about conceding. He said he'd make sure the votes were counted, and they were. Nobody has been able to identify any individuals involved in fixing the election, or any actual conspiracy to steal votes - I don't know why Kerry is supposed to have the super powers to uncover election fraud when nobody else has been able to do it.

11. What if your candidate doesn't do what you want
If he/she is the nominee. Will you say the same thing or will you blame a weak Democratic party and infrastructure for NOT backing him/her up?

4. Time for Dem to demand that MSM stop repeating the phony spin on the joke everytime this comes up.
It is quite unethical and an insult to not just Kerry but to
the whole Democratic leadership that they do this. By accepting this
crap the Party leadership giving permission for this type of
smear treatment for all and every Dem Leader.

10. Although now that it is clear that Senator Kerry
is using the media to clearly and consisely state his view on Iraq and the enitire extended middle east, it may change.

12. We can count on AP to report on things that matters!
:sarcasm:

I would hope that Kerry spoke about things more substantial than that, but I guess I will have to read the transcript to know, because AP could not be bothered reporting on what really mattered to people.
