or so it seems.

The Iraq Study Group is fine by me, and so is this new idea of working together in a bipartisan effort. It's almost like we've seen how fighting doesn't work, so we're going to try a better alternative, the alternative we should've tried right from the start...diplomacy. I for one welcome with open arms the Group's findings and the suggestion that we talk with Iran and Syria to try and figure this Middle East thing out.

What a novel concept, communicating with your enemies like adults, instead of killing and maiming each other like fucking barbarians. It's such a breath of fresh air to be hearing the word "diplomacy" more and more in the news the last couple of days.

For thinking he could conquer another country simply by using force, as opposed to using diplomacy, Bush will not only go down in history as the worst president in history, but he'll go down in history as the dumbest imbecile to ever walk the planet because of his arrogance and stupidity in underestimating the will and determination of the other side.

There isn't a problem in this world that couldn't be solved if only people would talk things over face to face and figure out their differences BEFORE deciding to kill each other with their war toys. Diplomacy. I love it. Let's all hope that this is the turning point of good things to come from now on.
