And The Democratic Front-Runner Is ... John Edwards?
Time.com

Joe Klein scopes out an Iowa poll showing the former vice presidential candidate with a surprising
lead among Democratic Presidential hopefuls. Is Hillary in trouble?

By Joe Klein

Only a seriously diseased political junkie - one without a life, one who hates to go holiday shopping,
one like me - would give a local Presidential poll more than a nanosecond's attention this early in the
political process. But ... hey, it's Iowa and the results are kind of interesting. The Des Moines Register
is reporting these numbers in a poll of Iowa Democrats conducted in October by Harstad Research for
a group called Environmental defense:

John Edwards 36%
Hillary Clinton 16%
Barack Obama 13%
Tom Vilsack 11%

Among county Democratic Party leaders, the numbers are even more startling:

Edwards 40%
Vilsack 15%
Obama 11%
Clinton 8%

3. I always said Edwards would have been best vs Bush
Edwards can win the presidency, he might be the best choice again in 2008.

4. Says Klein and an obscure poll in Iowa, 15 months before any vote is casted.

Call me later, when it will matter.

The poll was taken two months ago. At this point, Obama could be ahead, who knows?

6. Remember how Iowa crowned Kerry in 2004
The media did its best to end the contest as it began...

7. Many of us have been saying this for months
interesting how the MSM is finally catching up to it.

He's also going to win NV and SC. And come in 2nd or 3rd in NH. That should be enough momentum to give him the nomination on Super Tuesday.

My guess is the '08 ticket will be Edwards/Warner.
