well folks the real math is that we need a simple majority in the House, (done) and a supermajority in the Senate (we have 50 people I am not counting on Joe Lieberman on voting to convict)
So I was readying DU last night and my eyes were caught by the possible rethugs jumping ship on the escalation... and I counted them... and I smiled, it was 10 names
Fokks the math for impeachment may be coming closer as the insanity of king george increases and GOP rational people, yes there are some, conclude the same thing the rest of us have... the only way to bring chucklenuts under control is impeachment AND indictment.
So the party might be coming to an end for our liar in chief.
Oh and how many of you had flashbacks to Bam and Cambodia?

1. Good news. I say leniency only for the Republicans who defect from Bush... |
|
In the case of impeachment. Its true that there are conservatives who are good people who were decieved, but there comes a certain point where so much evidence has come out that if you haven't seen through the lies yet, you are either dumb or complicit. And people with that much power aren't dumb...So lets draw that line, and forgive the ones who come out of the cold by supporting the impeachment.

2. I think we are getting close to the point where it will be |
|
possible.
Now the investigations are also under way... so the ground work is being laid... and impeachment is organic
I also wonder if these guys and gal are changing their tune becuase they are being blasted for it.

5. Its a good question... |
|
whether they are changing their tune because they are being blasted for it by their constituents. I personally wouldn't be surprised; We Americans may be slow, but largely we want to do the right, moral thing...And the deceptions about Iraq have become so apparent that even the slowest of us are understanding that invading Iraq was not the morally right thing to do.

4. I agree with you, but too many Dems are pushing "let's not 're-litigate' how Iraq war |
|
started' and doing it publically and repeatedly. It's like the establishment is already covering up for Bush2 the way they covered up for Bush1.
