Doesn't the attack on our Athens embassy defeat that "we haven't been attacked since 9/11" argument?

I mean, embassies ARE US territory, right?

Oh, let me guess.

"There would have been MORE terrorist attacks if not for invading Iraq..."

2. They are going to blame this on democrats
the fact that democrats were elected to control congress. BUT the reason this embassy was attacked was because bush attacked the Iranian consulate in Iraq and took those five people prisoner. And you won't hear that in the news. I think CNN did a 2 second clip and that's it. Just you wait....the dems are at fault.

--The terrorist are siding with the dems, the dems can't protect you like bush and the republicans can.--

5. No, or yes, depending on what you think the quote means.
The "we haven't been attacked since 9/11" quote is based on a partial quoting (= misquote, in this context) of a Cheney speech ... in which he said we hadn't been attacked in the US by al-Qa'ida since 9/11.

"We" have been attacked since 9/11, but it's a strawman ... one that people readily confuse with Cheney or *.

But don't tell the kool-aid drinkers that.

7. The US capital was attacked after Sept 11

The United States Capital building was attacked after 911.

About a month after Sept 11, when Bush should have been on the highest of alerts.. the core of the US government, the US Capital building was attacked with deadly anthrax.

After over 5 years, the Bush admin has no suspects, and Zero leads.
