It is now the all day teevee channel in the Sparkly/Stinky house.

No missing girls

No lacrosse players

No screaming matches dressed up as 'debate'.

Just a series of speeches and procedures, hard hitting questions, inspirational motions, batshit crazy throwbacks to the days of our Congressional slavery to the Republic party.

Republics whining about not being treated fairly is the funniest. Are they fucking kidding? Fair? Hahahahahahahaha ...........

To hear the venerable Sen. Byrd challenge the SecDef and CJCS to say explicitly under what authority they did that thing in Somalia and them being flat-out unable to answer was priceless.

To hear the dear Sen Mikulski conclude that either Bush is a liar or he's incompetent .... and to say that in a way that leaves no choice apart from those two was sheer joy. It made me cheer for my Senator.

Watching John Kerry take away (figuratively, so far) Folley's and Cunningham's, and Delay's, and Ney's pensions was a thing of beauty.

Of course, the batshit crazy callers are always entertaining. They must do IVs of Kool-Aid.

Must watch teevee, indeed.
