An update on "more get killed in car wrecks" logic |
|
We all know that "conservatives" don't give a fuck about our kids dying in Iraq because their handlers tell them more get killed in car wrecks. Well now, by gawd, the brilliant "conservative" mind has more incredible ammo. Per Time Magazine, 7,000 people die each year because medical people can't read doctors hand writings. Per one of the brilliant minds which hide behind microphones - THERE IS NO SENSE OF PROPORTION. So there ya go, fuck the kids dying in Iraq, just watch out for scrawled prescriptions.
And bonus "conservative" logic. If you have nothing to hide, its okay for dick cheney to open your mail. So I guess if you do have something to hide its not alright??? Please would some "conservative" mind jump in here and edumucate me. I'm just a fucking insane liberal and can't understand your flawless thought.

2. Why can't we open Dick Cheney's mail? He must have something... |
|
to hide. Why is he ashamed to tell us about his "Energy" meetings?
Why is Bush hiding the WH video logs.

5. You must be one of those hard headed liberals |
|
See, if you are a republican and have something to hide then its not okay to investigate what you are doing. Its the American Way. And just because those "energy" meetings will prove that the bush administration let 9-11 happen, "conservatives" don't care so there is no sense in investigating. Come on get with the constition.

9. Yeah, that's a good turn-around. If Bush and Cheney don't have anything to hide |
|
why are they blocking all investigations of their administration? Wouldn't they welcome the investigations if they had nothing to hide? Oh yeah, and about 2000... If Bush won Florida, why didn't he let us count all the votes? If he had nothing to hide, why did he hide?
Funny how their "logic" works, isn't it?

3. Umm... doesn't this site block conservatives? |
|
I'm sure your request at the end is purely rhetorical; we all know that anyone openly expressing conservative views gets kicked off by the admins. The best you can usually get is a Straw Man of the right-wing position. Of course, the conservatives are so far out there today that they have a habit of Straw-Manning themselves. See Michael Savage.

|
What's rhetorical mean? Most likely any testy conservatives posting and attempting to wax philosophical will get cuffed about but I know they are lurking and I know when they read my posts they get enraged, enraged I tell ya. They just can't understand how their brilliant arguments can be shot to hell in a matter of seconds.

12. sounds like pretty small stuff. Lets call the cops on those guys in Iraq |
|
instead of sending the US Military with tanks and bombers. Why, if we followed this logic, we should be bombing LA!
morons. They always want it both ways.

roughly 50,000 people die every year in road accidents, so if I kill 49,999 people, I am still better off!

15. I was reading a book "Dereliction of Duty" about planning operations in Viet Nam, and |
|
advisors in President Johnson's office were trying to compare the casualties to the injuries and deaths around Washington, D.C. from car accidents. These people never chenge, whether it's one administration or the next, as long as someone else is doing the dying. That's why they call it cannon fodder.

18. Whether the Iraq war or automobile deaths or medical error |
|
these nitwits are still not familiar with the concept of harm reduction. Let's make our roads as safe as possible, reduce medical errors and withdraw the troops from Iraq. That way fewer Americans will die needlessly.
The right-wingers are engaged in rationalization with these absurd assertions.
rationalize: attempt to explain or justify (one's own or another's behavior or attitude) with logical, plausible reasons, even if these are not true or appropriate.
