Kerry's out. GORE, we NEED you! |
|
John Kerry will not be running in 2008, sadly.
We need accountability and leadership. Senator Kerry brought experience and tested leadership to the table, and now he's gone. We need someone with such experience and tested leadership to come to the table!
I call on Al Gore. Run, we need you. You weren't my first choice, but frankly you are one of the most remarkable and credible people we could run. So President Gore, it's yours if you want it. Now, TAKE IT!
Thank you :)

20. I do not want to ask Kerry supporters to consider anyone right now |
|
I hated the feeling that people were hoping to pick up my support as soon as Clark withdrew in 2004. Gore is a fine choice of course. I will only say that Wes Clark has excellent environmental credentials also. It simply isn't right to not acknowledge that he has real environmental credentials, because he does, although of course I acknowledge that Al Gore has been the leading voice fighting Global Warming, which is a true crisis for our planet. Good luck to all of us in electing a President in 2008 who understands how important an issue this really is.

3. I'd rather have somebody who hasn't lost before. |
|
No offense, I'm a fan of both guys, but maybe we should get somebody who hasn't been trampled before? And in Gore's case, in what should have been an easy election?

If he doesn't run, I'll support Clark. If Clark doesn't run, I may not vote in the primary.

7. Gore - Kerry has a nice ring |
|
Kerry could stay ot of the primary fray and get tabbed by Gore as his running mate. Justice would be served.

Without a doubt, Al Gore is the best person for the job.
He is doing great work -- raising awareness about the climate crisis.
He spoke to an audience of 10 000 in Boise on Monday, and is still on Tour! :)
His movie "An Inconvenient Truth" is nominated for an Academy Award.
He is working on his next book "The Assault on Reason" -- due out in May.
He has not ruled out running again and is keeping his options open.
Kerry fans -- come and join us in the pro-Gore Community! :)
Let's all find ways to show our support for Al Gore!

But I'm not sure Al Gore has to enter the race right now.
He doesn't have to decide until late summer or early fall.
He could announce in November and still go on to win the nomination.
I'm afraid this extended 12-month pre-primary campaign is not good.
People get bored easily - and Bu$h still has 2 more years! :(

I heard he will enter the race if Clinton tanks by the summer or isn't in the lead. I am wondering if a deal was struck between him and the Clintons...what do you all think???
