OUT of IRAQ! Feingold plan vs Obama plan - both lead in the right direction! Which is best?

High Kudo's to both Senators Feingold and Obama for introducing legislation today, which if it makes it to the floor for a vote, will be binding and resolute in moving toward the end of the America's military involvement in the Iraq quagmire. I believe we should hold every DEM accountable either in vote or spirit to fully and promptly endorse such legislation. Anything less then a YES vote would suggest, IMHO, a lack of dedication to Democratic values or an outright betrayal (per Lieberman) to our party. This type of proposal is what the vast majority of Democratic voters expect from our leaders on The Hill to end the damn war.

:kick:

Which plan do you like better?

2. It appears that Feingold's has more teeth
Although Obama contends that his redeployment caps have the "force of law" I don't have any idea what law he's basing it on. W, as Commander in Chief and Idiot in Residence is not going to accept it without a Supreme Court battle.

Without money, however, the war can't go on. Period.

4. Even with a supreme court battle who says he will accept it
I can see it now... "Mr. Roberts has made his decision, now lets see him enforce it."

5. Feingold's plan isn't out yet..Most likely published after he announces it
O'Bama has the specifics laid out at his website. see link..

I think he has a great Plan. Seeing his plan is out first, Feingold might be editing his.
